Speaking during the weekend at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Headquarters, Ebute-Metta, where he prayed for civil servants, Adeboye said God is merciful and when a nation turns to Him in penitence, He would surely hear and repent of any evil He may want to bring upon the nation as a result of the sins of the people.
“The recent and latest plane crash and the killings of innocent children in school while they were sleeping were not the will of God at all. The nation should pray for God’s mercy and peace to return,” he said.
